With a few weeks to go till the start of the season Twinwoods are still looking for new players to join and will be holding signing on periods at the end of the next two training sessions.

You could say we are at that critical stage now where we really see who is serious about the forthcoming season and who is not.

I have finally got my hands on the signing on forms and during the next 2 training sessions (saturdays) we will signing up players for the club. Before signing on you need to ask yourself a couple of questions:

1. Can I make most saturdays (90% of games)?
2. Will I remember to bring my subs every week without fail? 5 quid adults, 2.50 under 18s
3. Am I fully committed and want to enjoy a game of football every saturday?

If you have answered yes to all of these then you are the sort of player we are looking to sign. If you cannot commit to 75 - 90% of games during the season then there is not much in signing on. The last 2 seasons we have signed on players who have only been available once or twice and this costs the club money in the long run.

This is the final push guys, if you have heard someone say they are interested, bring them along, if you know any one, bring them along - if we dont have a minimum of 14 players signed on before the start of the season then we will have to withdraw from the league and fold the club (ideally we need 20 players).

(pardon the pun) The ball is in your court - I have done all I can to get a team together and my resources have finished - its on you guys now.

See you at training

PS - If for any reason you cannot make it to training (holiday or work) please let me know
