A quick note about Bank Holiday Mondays opening day fixture

TTFC v Wilstead Reserves

Monday 27th August 2007

Kick Off: 18.15

Pitch: The game will be played at Wilsteads pitch, but still classed as our home game (which means I will be counting on everyone to bring their subs if they want to play).

Directions: Wilstead is just off the A6 South of Bedford. The pitch is at Jubilee Playing Field, Bedford Road, Wilstead (its near the pub on the main road through Wilstead)

Team Selection

OK - Although KO time has changed, I will require all of you to confirm again that you can make this fixture.

Early indications show that I will have the majority of our squad to pick from. I will not name the 14 players to face Wilstead until 30 minutes before Kick Off.

If for any reason you need to know if you have / have not been picked as you may have a hot date lined up instead and dont fancy watching the game - please let me know I will respond.

Finally, this saturday will be our last training session. Fitness will be a minimal as I will concentrate on set pieces, passing and playing a tactical match (if we have enough). I am also happy to discuss possible positions you may wish to play in etc.

As I said before I am looking forward to seeing you all in action and I believe with squad we are building and some belief, we have a chance of succeeding at this level.
