Twinwoods first home fixture of the season saw them having to change venues after the first pitch they were due to play on was marked out incorrectly and the second pitches goals were too high. This saw them move to Flitwick leisure centre at the last minute.

After a number of Mickey Mouse events that occurred before the ball was even touched, TTFC lined up 15 players strong against a Riseley Team that looked hungry.

Manager Neil Hannam with no time to prepare his side before the game, quickly informed the team who was playing where:

GK: James Gleave
LB: Tom Gregory
RB: Grant Donaldson
CB: Nick Stanton
CB: Frazer Bruce
LM: James Ridgeon
RM: Paul Guthrie
CM: Neil Hannam
CM: Kenny Stevens
SC: Baz Hannam
SC: Nick Payne

Subs: Nick Shaw, Ali Inwood, Alex Sommers & Joe Kwarcinski

It was a poor match with TTFC defence consitently swinging the feet at loose balls and missing and the ball continuously being thrown over the top of the Riseley defence only for it to come back.

Goals were at large for the visiting side in yellow as the TTFC defence continued to leak. Grant Donaldson also claiming the first OG of the season.

There were a couple of good performances - stand in keeper James Gleave pulled off some fine saves, whilst Kenny Stevens returning to the side after injury played well.

After conceding 8 goals Manager Neil Hannam stated after the game that although the problems that had occurred before the game probably played a part in his teams heavy defeat - there was still no excuse. He continued to mention that he had seen most of the lads in action now and they had been given a chance to prove themselves. Changes would be implemented soon and only the strongest 14 players would be selected.

TTFC are home this weekend against Excel Utd - although Neil Hannam is missing from this match, he stated he was expecting nothing but a good performance from the boys and 3 points.
