With Cliffe Woods Colts and Spartac Reserves otherwise engaged in cup action Pegasus had the opportuntity to claim the top spot for the first time this season. They didnt dissapoint, as they thrashed lowly Newington Athletic 6-1 to move top of the pile.

Namesakes Newington Village fared far better, as their 5-1 win over Medway 2000 moved them up to fourth in the table. The Village have now claimed 13 out of their last 15 league points and are on a roll.

The bottom of the table clash between Anchorians and Bridgewood ended with Anchorians climbing away from the foot of the table, recording a 2-0 victory over their lowly opponents.
