Canberra survived the wettest week in history and hammered their Lancs Cup opponents Hesketh Casuals 5-1 to progress through to the Semi Finals where they will play Hurst Green if they can get past Moston Brook.

Greens game didnt survive the weather as a Saturday morning pitch inspection meant the game was postponed and will now take place Saturday 5th December, 1.30pm kick off.

The winners will play Canberra in the new year at a neutral venue with Green desperate to set up a Ribble Valley derby. As a result of the re-arrangement, Hurst Green Reserves match is now postponed.
