In the Premier Division of the Crewe Regional Sunday Football League, Bentley Motors maintained their top spot with a 3-1 win over Square One. Daryl Scarlett (2) and Steven Flehuer scored for the Motormen with Reading netting for Square One.

Crewe Diamonds bounced back from defeat last week with a 3-2 win over Nantwich Young Farmers. Callum Hassall bagged a brace for the Farmers but strikes from Chris Hardman, James Nolan and Aiden Haughton give Diamonds the victory. White Lion recovered from their mauling at the hands of Bentley with a 2-2 draw against Willaston White Star. It could have been better though as they were 2-0 up with both goals from Craig Griggs. However Star fought back with strikes from Luke Goddard and Jason Pritchard to get a draw. AFC Ruskin and Wrenbury also ended up 2-2 and Mike Griffiths for Wrenbury and Vinny Pownall for Ruskin both grabbed the limelight with braces. Acton Town were in the drop zone after having had six points deducted but that disappointment was erased after a 6-3 victory over fellow strugglers Wick took them out of the relegation zone. Aide Socha and Lawrence James both bagged a couple with other goals coming from Lewis James and Liam Walker. Cotterill (2) and Bannon scored for Wick. Chris Evans was the Railway marksman with both against Betley but a Tom Woodcock hat trick and an Ian Martin double gave Betley the win. Richard Hassall, Liam Challinor, Paul Woodvine and Ryan Edge got the Nantwich Wanderers goals as they beat Nags Head Bunbury whose situation even at this early stage in the season looks bleak with one point from nine games. Their lone scorer was Andy Rogers.
In Division 1, FC Duke just seem to keep scoring for fun as hit Boot & Shoe Villa for eleven without reply. Carl Everall and James Donegan both bagged hat tricks, Simon Everall got a double and there were singles for Liam Murray, Craig Huff and Danny Green. Crewe Athletic are keeping in touch and they were 4-2 winners over AFC Lamb. Josh Clark (3) and Warren Hudson were the Athletic scorers with Paul Bowker and Greg Gill on target for Lamb. Ocean brought St Marys down to earth with a bump winning 3-1. Luke Kennedy (2) and Josh Batty scored for Ocean (no scorer for St Marys). Flying Lady who were defeated by St Marys last week bounced back with a 3-1 win of their own over Salvador. Darren Sumner, Nathan Guthrie and Simon Leslie scored for Lady with Keiron Banks on target for Salvador. It was a close run thing for WEB but they eventually triumphed over Faddiley 4-3. Karl Boyd, Alex Ashton, Anthony Owo and Liam Jones were the WEB marksmen with Francis Brooks and Dave Tonkin (2) netting for Faddiley. Finally White Ford Lane went down 3-0 to Crewe FC whose goals cam from Isaac Thaw, Jamie Short and Nathan Quinn.
