In the Premier Division of the Crewe Regional Sunday Football League, Bentley Motors came through a tough examination by Acton Town.

Simon Evans bagged a double either side of half time to put the Motormen in control and Leroy Jones looked to have sealed the win when he made it three. However Aidy Socha then pulled one back for Acton only for Steven Flehuer to restore the three goal lead for Bentley. Aidy Socha did get another for Acton Town but it was to no avail. Crewe Diamonds and Willaston White went on a goal feast as they played out a 6-6 draw. Aiden Haughton and Chris Hardman both bagged double with the other Diamond strikes coming from James Nolan and an own goal. Willaston also had braces from Mike Blundell and Daniel Croft with singles from Rick Goddard and Jason Pritchard.

Square One moved into 2nd place courtesy of a 4-1 win over Wrenbury. A Skinner, D Balmer, K Readdin and J Nolan scored for Square one while Adam Newton netted for Wrenbury. AFC Ruskin had strikes from Lewis Clark, D Hilton, Mike Walton, Jonathan Maxwell and Vinny Pownall as they demolished Wick 5-0. Paul Woodvine and Mike Wielding got the decisive goals for Nantwich Wanderers as they beat Betley 2-1 (no scorer for Betley). Nags Head Bunbury grabbed a point in a 3-3 draw with Nantwich Young Farmers. Andrew Williamson (2) and Adam Vernon were on target for the Farmers while Adam Williams, Danny Rogers and Dan Ball gave Nags a point in their quest to get out of the drop zone. Adam Landston got the only goal of the game in the 1-0 win for Railway Hotel against White Lion.

In Division 1, FC Duke continue to steam roller sides as they beat AFC Lamb 4-1. Carl Everall, Shane Wild, James Donegan and Wes Newton (goalkeeper from a free kick) scored for the Duke with Paul Bowker replying for AFC. Crewe Athletic though are looking equally strong as they beat a near rival in Crewe FC, 6-3. Malcolm Bostock, Gareth Jones, Warren Hudson, P J Hudson, Josh Clark and Mike Nixon made up the tally for Athletic with the Crewe scorers being Nathan Quinn, Tom Darby and Ben Cox. Ocean had goals from Carl Greatbanks and Luke Kennedy to thanks as they beat Cheshire Blades 2-0 and Rory Saunders (2) Garry Gordon were on target for Wickstead in their 3-0 win over Boot & Shoe Villa.

Flying Lady avenged their recent league defeat against St Marys with a 6-1 thrashing of the same opposition. Simon Lesley was a hat trick hero for Lady with other goals coming from Ryan Jardine, Paul Rimmer and Nathan Guthrie. Matthew Prestwich got the St Marys consolation. Regular marksmen Sam Birchall (2) and Keiron Banks for Salvador were at it again as they beat Faddiley 3-2, whose strikes came from a Dave Tonkin double. Finally WEB and White Lion Ford Lane shared the points as they drew 3-3. Anthony Owo (2) and Andrew Coyle were the goal scorers for WEB but Leon Payne was the White Lion hero as he bagged a hat trick.
