Mattersey have been all-conquering this season and apart from a defeat in the County Cup they have not lost a single game, but they will be the first to admit they were pushed mighty hard by a battling Bridon side........

BFC Birches will be Matterseys opponents in the semi-final after they ground out a 1-0 win at East Drayton who rued their inability to take any of the chances they created.

In the only league game played Harworth Colliery defeated Haxey FC 2-0 to highlight once again Haxey FCs problems in the goalscoring department.

The Ron Swinton Memorial Section B game saw Retford Town win their second game from three in the competition when they beat Gainsborough Town Canute Reserves 2-1, a result that gives them more than a 50-50 chance of qualifying for the semi-final play-offs.
