Yarnfield dominated the game throughout with two cases of Gung-ho football costing them two goals but some exquisite passing football played at times gives them a good chance at promotion.

County Officers started brightly and managed to put the ball in the box in the first minute but Kenny dealt with it easily and started a Yarnfield counter attack that forced a smart save from the keeper. Yarnfield started to get into their rhythm with simple passing movements leaving Officers chasing the ball and Frog, Rio and Nick all coming close. The first goal eventually came, but from a piece of long ball football. Pies having picked up a loose ball booted the ball up field for Rio to flick on to Frog to score his 17th League Goal and 20th in all competitions with a well taken strike. With Yarnfield continuing to dominate a few too many players tried to get a second goal and cost Yarnie the lead. A long ball down field beat Nick who was struggling with illness and the loose ball was switched to the right and crossed into the box. Razor, Woody and Kenny stepped out but Ben who was in for the absent AJ didnt manage to get out in time and the striker now onside netted past Pies for an undeserved equaliser. This gave Yarnie the kick up the arse they needed and they started to play the passing football that they are capable of and it paid off with two quick goals in succession. First Fordy scored after Bazs shot came off the defender straight into his path and then Baz scored with the faintest of touches from Frogs in swinging corner. Yarnfield could have extended their lead with Mike, Nick and Fordy firing wide, Rio heading just over and Frog having an effort cleared off the line.

Rusho came on for Nick at half time who had been throwing up during the game and officers started to play with twelve with the ref either feeling sorry for them or just been plain useless giving free kicks that even surprised the Officer players and giving very very little to Yarnie even for tackles from behind! As in the fast half, ten minuets in Yarnie decided to go all in and it cost them another stupid goal a long ball into the box was saved by Pies but the striker nipped in just ahead of Ben Bash to give them a glimmer of hope. Again this kick-started Yarnfield but Officers now went four upfront to try and equalise but with Kenny and Woody in the centre nothing was coming through and the only time Officers did the goal was offside. Then patient passing paid off when a passing movement that started with Pies and included everyone in the team was finished off easily by Frog who out jumped the Keeper from Rios chip and passed it in to the empty net. More excellent passing gave Yarnfield another when Mike found Fordy who lashed home from the edge of the box. In the last ten minutes Baz had the keeper at full stretch with a shot just inside their half and Frog and Mike both shooting narrowly wide.
