Prior to the home game last Sunday, Dan Stanley showed us why he is tipped as one of the top Darland full backs.

Wearing the (Cursed) blue and white strip, Dan took time out to pose with a confident swagger after the pre-match warm up. Scoring a great goal in the first half too, Dan has amazed the manager as a utility player of a high standard.

Filled with vigor and brimming with confidence - with Big John and co. at the back, Darlos defence seemed water tight until a few early mistakes and lost possession, two goals were conceded in quick succession. Heads dropped, and the rest was history.

With Darlands number 1 goalkeeper out of action with back trouble, Simon ManKini Ward stepped up to fill the gloves of Seany in between the sticks.

However, much animation was visible on the sidelines to keep the team pepped where Frankie threw the linesmans flag in disgust on a number of occasions, and one time actually kicked it in mid air - then catching it - Pure skill.

Just 4 more games left (All away) against Tempest, Deanview, Newington Village and Cliff Woods Colts, can the Yellow Army maintain a top half finish?
