Key defender in leg break

Riverside Inn FC defensive rock Benjamin King will miss the remainder of the 2009/2010 season due to serious leg break Friday, this is a massive blow to a club who are challenging for honors on all 4 fronts. Ben was rushed in to hospital Friday afternoon after breaking his Tibula & Fibula after a sledging accident, he has since had three operations to pin the badly damaged right leg. The latest news is that he will be released from hospital later today once they have cast his leg this afternoon. Everyone will be wishing Ben a speedy recovery and will look forward to seeing him in training preseason. The injury to centre back Ben King has prompted manager Stuart Kingsnorth to resign experienced centre back Jon Wright and the pacey Neil Cheesman who can play all across the backline.
