Leverton United and Elkesley shared the points as a thrilling derby clash produced six goal, ending in a 3-3 draw......
Leverton started strongly and had their first chance when Lee Pashley saw his shot drift wide of the Elkesley post.
Elkesley came more and more into the game, but Jamie Prior and Levi Tuddenham combined to keep them at bay.
Elkesley took the lead after 20 minutes when Johnson scored from a cross by Burton.
Leverton continued to press forward and levelled the game when Ian Eltringham sent Lee Pashley free down the right wing, and his cross was fired home by James Walker.
Leverton came close to taking the lead when a 20-yard drive by Pashley was well saved in the Elkesley goal by Bestwick.
The second half started badly for Leverton with Elkesley taking the lead again.
Leverton kept battling away, and again levelled the game when Mason found Pashley and he was able to beat Bestwick at his near post.
Leverton then took the lead when Liam Mason played in Lee Pashley down the right wing and his first time cross was hammered home by Walker.
With time running out for Elkesley, they pushed forward and levelled the game with only minutes left.
Levertons man of the match award, sponsored by J. S. Highfield Ltd, went to Lee Pashley.
Leverton are at home next week to MUSC FC. Players are asked meet at the ground at 9.45am
