Queens Head hit rock bottom!!

After the disappointment of last week Queens Head were up for this one. Queens started bright but on 5 mins a poor referee decision gave POW a penalty, 1-0!!! Queens Head then pushed to get a goal but had very few chances, with the loan striker upfront. Queens Head hit the crossbar but that was as close as they got!! Then POW ran riot scoring 3 in quick succession
HALF TIME 0-4
Second half was a different half the referee kicked off before anyone was ready and a long ball had Queens Head knapping and POW scored 5-0,queens head then got the ball down and played some outstanding football but just could not find the net!!! Then they eventually did find the net with some good moving of the ball Matthew Cooke lobbed the keeper to make it 5-1. Queens Head carried on passing it around, Then left back Lee Sefton let rip a thunder bolt from all of 35 yard for the POW keeper to produce a top save and tip it onto the crossbar, With Queens Head pressing POW broke on the counter and scored to make it 6
FULL TIME Queens Head 1 POW 6
A very unlucky game in many respect for the QH
Hopefully they can get the show back on the road in 2 weeks time against Tividale Wonder !!!!
Man of the Match Chris Welborn WELL DONE!!!
