Inglebys goal drought turned into a goal glut as their forwards found their shooting boots

I Ingleby started the game well passing the ball around with purpose, and causing the Stanwood defence problems from the outset. It took fifteen minutes for the pressure to pay off. A deep Green cross bouinced of the bar and fell to Warriner who smashed the ball into the net off the post from a narrow angle. Stanwood at this stage were looking dangerous on the break at Spidley had to twice make last ditch tackles to prevent them from scoring. Bury in goal also had to remain alert and brought off a couple of fine saves. Carl Kitchinson then released Green on the edge of the area and he clipped the ball under the advancing keeper. Bennetts through ball was met by Green, who this time chipped the keeper from eighteen yards to put Ingleby three nil up. Kithchinson then effectively finished the game off a contest before half time when he found the net from the edge of the area with an accurately placed shot. In the second half Ingleby continued to attack, and within five minutes Bennetts neat touch gave himself room in the area and he made no mistake with his finish. Fullwoods energy in midfield was not allowing the Stanwwod midfield time to settle, and despite some good play another goal was some time in coming. On eight minutes Kitchinson got his second goal when his twenty five yard shot flew into the back of the net. Stanwood to their credit continued to compete and did not let their head drops, but Ingeby ran out comfortable winners in the end.
