After going behind Ingleby contrived to let a 4-1 lead slip.

On fifteen minutes Driver put Rose one nil up when he rose well at a corner to head the ball in. Ingleby immediately hit back following a scramble in the six yard box when Pridgeons mis hit shot looped into the net. Ingleby then hit a purple patch and within the next ten minutes scored a further three goals. Eames took advantage of some sloppy defending to score his first goal of the season, Kitchinson increased the lead before Eames ran onto a through ball and beat the keeper to the ball to put Ingleby four one up. Pridgeon then rounded the keeper but with a defender on the line he blasted the ball over the bar. Just before half time Ingleby suffered a triple wammy, the influential Spindley and Pridgeon had to leave the pitch and Bew pulled a goal back for Rose.
Inglebys resources were further stretch in the second half. Eames was substituted with an ankle injury and with two further players picking up injuries Rose took full advantage and turned the game on its head. Bews harmless looking shot took a wicked bounce off the infamous Marton surface to deceive Bury. Taylor drew Crown level and Bew completed his hat-trick when Warriner failed to clear. In the final minute Driver completed the remarkable turn around with a simple tap in.
