LOST 3-2

The league did not appoint a referee to this fixture so Last years manager Bomber reffed the game in his slippers and a toy whistle.
the home side got the break through 20 minutes into the game when Kirkburtons defence were caught napping. Burton equalized from a free-kick which was poked home by Luke Hanson after a challenge on the keeper by Ben Hughill, The ref got a bit of grief from the goal keeper saying he was fouled, it was a fair challenge. 1-1 at half time and all to play for.
2nd half cleckheaton came out the stronger and soon took the lead when the lively centre forward was upended by Ryan moyles and the ref had to give the penalty, 2-1. they then proceeded to go further ahead when the defence was napping again, 3-1. Burton did pull one back late on but wasnt enough.
3-2 cleckheaton.
